Northern Breezes Youth
Program
 Medicine Lake Sailing Camp
At Medicine Lake Sailing Camp, youth ages 8-16 are introduced to the
lifelong sport of sailing. Campers learn to skipper and crew a centerboard
sailboat in light to moderate wind and sea conditions in familiar waters without
supervision. Campers gain confidence, teamwork and leadership skills, as well as
knowledge of water safety.
 Youth Sailing Program- Keelboat
At
Shorewood Yacht Club, youth ages 14-18 enjoy learning how to sail in a fun
environment. This is a unique
opportunity for older students to sail larger boats on Lake Minnetonka. This is
a great course for those who have completed the medicine lake youth camp and
also for those who are new to sailing.
