The 6 and 8 kW gensets utilize the same advanced technology incorporated in all of Yanmar’s renowned diesel propulsion engines. When it’s time for servicing, a Yanmar-qualified technician can maintain both engines.
These sets from Next Generation are among the smallest on the market, especially in length. The 6 kW unit measures 27" long x 16" wide x 21" high. the 8 kW model is 28" long x 16" wide x 21" high.

Both models offer one-side serviceability, with all maintenance points within easy reach. They are fully marinized and include fresh water heat exchanger cooling, engine instrumentation and tinned wiring.

The price of the 6 kW Yanmar genset is $5,241. the 8 kW model costs $5,784.
