NEW FOUND METALS' PORTS ARE STANDARD ON HINCKLEY DS42
|
Marine hardware manufacturer New Found Metals, Inc. of Port Townsend,
Washington, will supply the Hinckley Company with port windows for
Hinckley's latest 42-footer—the Bruce King-designed Hinckley DS42 daysailer.
Hinckley’s limited edition sailing yacht will feature four of New Found
Metals' 3" x 10" opening ports. They are available with a bronze or chrome
finish and come in two stock spigot lengths: a standard, 1-1/2"-deep
version; and the extended model, which is 2" deep.
"We picked New Found Metals as the company of choice due to their solid
workmanship and their ability to meet the exacting requirements necessary
for the ports on the Hinckley DS42," explained Peter Smith, Hinckley
Company's head engineer.
Besides its ports, New Found Metals also manufactures a full line of opening
port lights and accessories, deck washes and fittings.
