Spreader Light Illuminates Critical Deck Areas

light.JPG (11591 bytes)When working on the deck of a boat after dark, flashlights and portable worklights cannot always provide the optimum angle for lighting. Often, an overhead source is best for proper illumination of work areas or other important deck features such as steps.

The series 80 Hamburg spreader light from Aqua Signal is designed to provide optimum lighting from overhead. Available with a 50-watt halogen bulb, its wide angle of distribution works effectively to flood critical deck areas.

Manufactured from rigid polycarbonate, the non-magnetic housing is available in white and matte black. The bulb is held into place by a high-rimmed locking ring. This provides additional protection for the bulb and ensures a watertight , corrosion-proof seal. It also makes the bulb easy to change.

The light can be attached directly to a head board or overhang, or a stainless steel bracket is included to allow mounting on vertical surfaces, such as masts. Available in 12-volt and 24-volt configurations, wires connect to a simple, screw-type, two-pole terminal.

Suggested retail price of the Hamburg spreader light with a 50-watt sealed-beam bulb is $59.95.
