"Go Sailing" is a national event to introduce neophyte sailors to the sailing lifestyle. "Go Sailing" sponsors give 45 minute rides to new sailors. Ten businesses and clubs on the St. Croix River, Lake Pepin, Lake Minnetonka and Lake Superior will be participating. "Go Sailing" is sponsored locally by the Upper Midwest Sailing Association and Leukemia Society of Minnesota. Last year, the event drew 350 participants.
