In this video Dan Mims, a Coast Guardsman with Sector New Orleans, spends time after work with youth around his community playing basketball and teaching them life lessons every Wednesday and Sunday.

Coast Guardsmen become heavily involved in their communities not only as rescuers, but also as mentors and community volunteers.
