2015 49er/49erFX World Championships

The 2015 World Championships for the 49er & 49erFX classes will be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina starting November 16th and continuing on until November 21st.

This regatta is the qualifier for three more berths for the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics for each respective class.

Club Náutico San Isidro, located in a province of Buenos Aires, will host 214 sailors for a week of intensely fierce sailing. For a lot of these teams, it'll be a chance to qualify their country, but for others it's a chance to prove they deserve the right to Rio.
