Cruising Club of America - Annual Awards Dinner at New York Yacht Club in Manhattan

New York, N.Y. (March 5, 2013) – On Friday, March 1, 2013, the Cruising Club of America (CCA) celebrated its outstanding sailors of 2012 at the Annual Awards Dinner at New York Yacht Club in Manhattan. CCA Commodore Daniel P. Dyer, III presented the following four awards:

Blue Water Medal

Rod Stephens Trophy
Thomas B. Crawford (right), Master of MV Mokihana, accepts the 2012 Rod Stephens Trophy from Cruising Club of America Commodore Daniel P. Far Horizons Award

Richard S. Nye Trophy

About the Cruising Club of America

The Cruising Club of America is dedicated to offshore cruising, voyaging and the “adventurous use of the sea” through efforts to improve seamanship, the design of seaworthy yachts, safe yachting procedures and environmental awareness.
