Edson's Launches New Side-Mount Outboard Engine Bracket
Edson International is pleased to announce the addition of a new product to their Marine Accessories line. The new Side-Mount Outboard Engine Brackets are designed to secure small electric and gasoline-powered outboard motors directly to the side of small sailing vessels.
Available in two sizes, the larger model is for sailboats such as the Stuart Knockabout and Shields, while the smaller model is designed for the Marshall Sakonnet 23, Doughdish, and many others. The Side-Mount Outboard Engine Bracket is engineered for both port and starboard sides of the boat. It provides a removable and elegant mount for your traditional craft. |

The new Side-Mount Outboard Engine Bases are cast from red bronze in Edson’s Anbar Foundry. The Brackets are machined and welded in Edson’s New Bedford-based machine shop from Stainless Steel, and finished with two teak blocks and leather chafe protection. A tethered eye bolt allows for easy installation and removal of the bracket from the bronze mounting plate. Edson’s new Side-Mount Outboard Engine Brackets are available, starting at $499. |
