SHIMS AND GASKETS ADD STREAMLINED APPEARANCE
Keeping hardware covered creates a sleek look aboard. With Shims and Gaskets from Accon Marine, boat owners can put the finishing touches on their vessel without difficulty. Easy to install, owners simply place the shim or gasket on the curved or straight surface below the bimini hinge and fasten with two #10 screws.
The company's Shims are offered in straight or curved versions. The 401-S curved Shim enables owners to fit Accon's Quick Release Bimini Hinges with 1.9", 2.36" and 3" diameter tubing. Constructed from UV-resistant plastic and designed in silver or black, they complement both stainless steel and aluminum.
When mounting the Bimini Hinge at a 10° angle, the 401-3 Shim is recommended. Two Shims can be used for a 20° angle. Available in neutral and black, they're also made from UV-resistant plastic.
Separating dissimilar metals, the 401-G Gaskets are offered in white or black. They add a more finished appearance when installing bimini hinges.
Accon's 401-S Curved Shims retail for $3.04, while the 401-3 Shims cost $2.42 and the 401-G Gaskets are priced at $1.11.
