Ledin to Document Lake Superior with Sailboat Journey

Marlin Ledin of Washburn, WI wants to document Lake Superior on an upcoming sailboat journey around the lake. And given his recent success in fundraising for the project, it looks like his voyage will become reality.

The plan Ledin has is to use field recordings, photography, writing, video and music to document Lake Superior during a four- to six-month-long sailboat adventure this year.

Ledin set up a multimedia proposal on the internet site Kickstarter.com in hopes that he would receive funding for the documentary project. Just five days later he surpassed his $1,000 goal.
